GAMES
At SRSP games are used as part of experiential learning. The students are given the opportunity to practice the social skills taught through direct instructions within the structure of an engaging game. Some social skills used while playing games are: Self-regulating emotions, turn taking, conversation skills, good sportmanship, and friendship skills.
The students have many favourite games. Some of the games we play are, Secret Door, Go Fish, Toss Up, Left/Right/Centre, and Uno Attack. Attached are rules to two of our favourite card games, Golf and President. Keep checking back to this page for updates on games you can play at home.
